Our library, our University's teaching staff, students, and staff, is a center that offers its users a collection of printed and electronic information resources 24/7 to support education, training, research programs, and to spend their spare time.
Sakarya University Central Library provides 24/7 service to 1,300 people simultaneously in an area of 10,000 m2. building layout; On the ground floor, User Services Branch Office, Periodicals Collection, Periodicals Archive, Visually Impaired Unit, Education and Promotion Unit, Department, Library Branch Office, Administrative Services Branch Office, Quality and Publishing Services Branch Office, Lending Service (Book and Publication Services) computer), General Collection (books between 000-350), Law Collection, Internet Hall, Mobile Recording Unit, and study halls. On the first floor, Reference and Thesis Collection, General Collection (books between 350-999), and study rooms; On the second floor, there are Rare Works and Sakarya Hall, Non-Book Information Resources, Cataloging and Classification Unit, and study halls. There is an individual study room on the 3rd floor. In addition, wireless internet access is available on each library floor.
All material information available in the library is transferred to an electronic environment by using Yordam Library Information-Document Automation program and offered to users over the internet. Our library lends information resources other than reference resources and periodicals to our University's academic and administrative staff. Upon request, for faculty members, photocopies of books and articles borrowed from domestic university libraries are provided.
