SciELO Books is a collection of quality peer-reviewed Open Access and commercial ebooks in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Public Health from selected university presses and other academic publishers in Brazil. The scope of the collection will progressively broaden as university presses and academic publishers from other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean join. Currently there are over 300 ebooks available for download this number is expected to grow by more than 500 titles per year. The books published by SciELO Books are selected by a scientific committee following a rigorous peer review process. Commerical ebooks for purchase are clearly marked and also have abstracts available.
