COVID-19 ebook access extended through August 31
In March, we worked with our publisher partners to offer libraries temporary free access to a set of 38,000 ebooks to support the sudden shift to remote teaching and learning, as well as a lack of access to the physical stacks of books. We've seen high usage, evidence that we helped to fill a gap in access, and a positive response from end users, libraries, and the publishing community that participated.

While this initiative was initially slated to end on June 30, many of our participating publishers have generously agreed to extend access through August 31, 2020. More than 32,000 titles from 48 publishers will be included; download a title list here.
Discovery and MARC records for the collection
As part of the continuation of expanded access, the collection has been enabled as a target in EDS, Alma, and WorldCat Discovery. JSTOR is also offering free MARC records for these titles through the OCLC WorldShare Collection Manager. A new collection has been added called Books at JSTOR Temporary COVID-19 Access which will be automatically selected by the JSTOR Holdings feed (aka autoload) for institutions that qualify. You'll need to enable record delivery as outlined in the OCLC Guide to JSTOR Records and will begin receiving records within 7-10 days.
Additional COVID-19 resources from JSTOR
Access has been extended through December 31, 2020 for unlicensed journal and primary source collections, a set of public health journals, and 6,000+ articles related to the pandemic. We've also developed resources on teaching remotely with JSTOR, expanded free read-online access to 100 articles per month, and extended browser pairing through the end of the year.
